Bryn’s School Director Janine Hendry founded Bryn’s School in 2004. Janine started her career as an academic working in the discipline of marketing strategy and consumer psychology.
Janine now combines her academic career across several Visiting Professor appointments as well as maintaining her directorships of Bryn’s School and The Guild of Objects; a Guild that supports creatives in their journey toward financial independence. Janine frequently gives keynote addresses in the areas of philanthropy, social enterprise and women’s empowerment.
Anna Morton is a sexual health physician who has worked in public health at the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre and Mercy Hospital for Women for over 20 years. As the mother of two teenage sons currently at school in Melbourne, Anne feels strongly that all children should have access to a good education regardless of their circumstances. She strongly believes that through a good education they will have better health and opportunities in life.
Matt is a communications and community relations professional with experience in the academic, medical, not for profit, community, government, and agency sectors. Matt is highly experienced in providing direction in communications and brings intellectual rigour and the ability to uniquely communicate messages that matter.
Nick founded Etiko. He was a former high school teacher who developed a taste for social enterprise after spending a few years working in indigenous communities in the Northern Territory during the late1980’s and early 1990’s. Nick Introduced the No Sweat brand (world’s first ethically focussed fashion brand) into Australia back in 2004 and then decided to create Etiko in late 2005.
Nick is passionate about community and social enterprise.
